Executive coaching
Executive coaching is now widely used across industry to develop management talent and performance. Companies are sometimes disappointed on the return it gives them - and sometimes are not even sure whether there is a return!
The trouble is that most executive coaching services are one-sided or teaching-oriented. Information or advice is communicated to executives, who are then left to go and put it into practice. Often this means that executives' behaviour changes in the short term but, then under pressure of work, reverts to type. The reason is that the learning has not been embedded or that the coach/executive relationship is not productive.
Quo's executive coaching approach avoids these common problems and brings quantifiable payback that is sustainable over time, for two key reasons: First, our coaching methods start with the whole person, not just the work person. We look at their motivation and skills in the round and work creatively with them to develop and buy into SMART goals that are tailored for them as individuals, but anchored in the realities of their business.
Second, we place great store on choosing the right coach for the individual executive. Coaching is a creative and interactional process, and the choice of coach makes a huge difference to the effectiveness of the executive coaching services. So, right at the start, we measure the profile of our "coachees" and use it to select the right executive coach.
