Mentoring
Frequent organisational change, changing professional requirements, time and budget squeezes put a huge amount of pressure on today’s line managers. Straightforward coaching and training approaches may not always be the best way to help the manager excel in the new environment. For instance, time pressure may preclude them going on formal courses, or they may have a highly practical bent that relishes real-life “learning by doing”.
Quo’s mentoring service pairs managers with mentors who have years of hard-nosed business experience, providing an impartial, insightful sounding board and broadening their views of available possibilities and business solutions. Mentors help put managers on the road to better performance, help devise career strategies, share knowledge and generally act as confidant.
Mentoring can take place in the workplace or elsewhere.
